Initiatives for FY 2022　令和4年度の取り組み

As the first initiative of FY2022, Sagamihara City invited Canadian companies to create business matchmaking opportunities with local companies coinciding with the opening of “CEATEC”, Asia’s largest international exhibition held at Makuhari Messe from October 18 (Tue.) to 21 (Fri.).

令和4年度は初の試みとして、10月18日（火曜日）から21日（金曜日）に幕張メッセで開催されるアジア最大級の国際展示会「CEATEC」の会期に合わせてカナダ企業を招聘し、市内企業とのビジネスマッチングの機会を創出しました。

Visiting Sagamihara companies　カナダ企業による市内企業訪問

Two Canadian companies visited three local companies and exchanged opinions while observing the facilities and products. The participated Canadian companies shared their impressions, commenting that“having this kind of opportunity not only leads to future business but also allows us to build long-term partnerships”.

カナダ企業2社が市内企業3社を訪問し、実際に設備や製品を見ながら意見交換等を行いました。参加したカナダ企業からは「こうした機会をいただくことで、将来のビジネスにつながるだけでなく、長期的なパートナーシップを構築していける」との感想が寄せられました。

Business networking events　ビジネス交流会

In collaboration with the City of Toronto, the Government of Ontario, JETRO, and others, six Canadian companies exhibiting at ‘CEATEC’ and five local companies gathered to conduct a business exchange meeting. Following three-minute presentations from each company, lively discussions were held, focusing on business prospects.

トロント市・オンタリオ州政府・JETRO等の協力のもと、「CEATEC」に出展しているカナダ企業6社と市内企業5社が集い、ビジネス交流会を実施しました。各社3分間でプレゼンテーションを行った後、ビジネスに向けたディスカッションが活発に行われました。
