Organize Business Matchmaking Event with Companies from Ontario, Canada【相模原市】カナダ・オンタリオ州の企業とのビジネスマッチングイベントを開催しました!

For over 30 years, Sagamihara City has been a sister city to the City of Toronto, Ontario, engaging in continuous economic exchanges by inviting visits to local companies.
This fiscal year, Sagamihara City collaborated with the Embassy of Canada in Japan to host a business matchmaking event on October 18th (Wed.) following the previous fiscal year. The event brought together Canadian companies that had participated in “CEATEC”, Asia’s largest international exhibition held at Makuhari Messe, and local companies.

During the first half of the event, each company gave a 3-minute presentation to promote their companies.



The second half featured an exchange meeting, where participants including the participating companies, the Embassy of Canada in Japan, JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), and other related parties freely exchanged ideas and discussed lively, focusing on business and related prospects.



Sagamihara City will continue to support the overseas expansion of local companies, hoping that this event will pave the way for the development of business among connected
companies and lead to concrete business negotiations in the future.
